3. Permissions

By installing WA Media Saver, you agree to grant the following permissions, which are the minimum strictly necessary for the extension to operate:

activeTab — to interact with the WhatsApp Web tab currently open in your browser, without accessing any other tab or browsing data.
scripting — to inject a helper script into the WhatsApp Web page in order to detect and retrieve media files (photos, videos, audio, documents) that are already visible to you in your own chat session. No data beyond what is already on screen is accessed.
downloads — to save the selected media files directly to your device's Downloads folder. Files are saved locally and are never transmitted to external servers.
Host access to https://web.whatsapp.com/* — the extension operates exclusively on this domain, which is the official WhatsApp Web interface. Access is strictly limited to this single domain and is required to read and retrieve media from the user's own open chat session.

No other permissions are requested or used.

4. Optional Permissions

This extension may request additional optional permissions after installation to enhance functionality. These are never required for basic operation, and you are free to accept or deny them at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

WA Media Saver does not rely on third-party services for its core functionality. However, the following third-party service is used for payment processing only:

PayProGlobal (payproglobal.com) — handles all transactions for PRO license purchases. By purchasing through PayProGlobal, you agree to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. PayProGlobal processes payment data securely and independently; we do not receive or store your financial information.

No other external party has access to your data through use of this extension.

12. Refund Policy

For digital goods, including software licenses, refunds cannot be issued once a license key has been generated and delivered, as activation keys constitute non-returnable digital products.

WA Media Saver is provided with a free trial mode, allowing users to fully evaluate compatibility and functionality before purchasing. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that the product was available for testing beforehand and that delivery of the license key finalizes the transaction.
