This Privacy Policy describes how the Everand to PDF Downloader browser extension ("the Extension", "we", "our") handles information. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension.
This policy applies specifically to the Everand to PDF Downloader extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
The Extension is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Everand, Scribd, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All product names, trademarks and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Users are responsible for using the Extension in accordance with Everand's terms of service and all applicable copyright laws.
The single purpose of the Extension is to capture the visible pages you are reading in the active Everand reader tab and compile them into a downloadable PDF document for your personal use.
The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal or user data. In particular:
All functionality runs locally within your browser. Pages captured from the active tab are processed on your device and stored only in your browser's local storage so that your work is preserved between sessions (for example, if you close and reopen the Extension window). The resulting PDF is generated locally and saved directly to your device using your browser's download function.
This locally stored content never leaves your computer and is never uploaded to any server. It remains until you start a new capture, use the "Clear captured pages" option, or uninstall the Extension.
To perform its core functionality, the Extension requests the minimum permissions required. These are:

The Extension is provided with a free trial mode. Unlocking the full (PRO) version is optional and is handled through PayProGlobal, a third-party payment platform. The Extension itself does not process, receive or store any payment or financial information. When you make a purchase, your payment is handled entirely by PayProGlobal under their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The Extension does not rely on third-party services to function and grants no external party access to your data through its use, except for the optional payment process described in Section 7. Note that the website hosting this policy may use standard web analytics or cookies; this is separate from the Extension, which collects nothing.
The Extension is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Extension after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of the revised policy.
For digital goods, including software licenses, refunds cannot be issued once the license has been generated and delivered to the customer, as activation keys constitute non-returnable digital products. Because every extension is offered with a free trial mode that lets you fully evaluate compatibility and functionality before purchase, completing the purchase acknowledges that the product was made available for testing beforehand and that delivery of the license key finalizes the transaction.
