Terms of use, permission explanations, licensing and refund policy
Welcome to Page Monitor & Alert, a Chrome/Edge browser extension available from onlinegratis.net/page-monitor.html. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the extension.
Page Monitor & Alert is designed for one clear purpose: helping users monitor selected web pages and receive an alert when a change is detected. The extension may save the pages you choose to monitor, check those pages at the interval you configure, compare the latest page content with the previously saved version, and notify you when a relevant change is found.
The extension is not intended to bypass paywalls, access restricted content without authorization, overload websites with excessive requests, or monitor pages in violation of third-party terms.
Page Monitor & Alert does not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. The monitored page list, alert preferences, check intervals, and comparison data are used only to provide the page monitoring feature.
Some data is stored locally in your browser so the extension can remember your monitored pages and detect future changes. The extension may access the content of pages you choose to monitor only for comparison and alert purposes. Financial payment data, when applicable, is handled by the payment processor and not by the extension.
Page Monitor & Alert requests only the permissions required to provide its single purpose: monitoring user-selected web pages and notifying the user about changes. The permissions are used as follows:
The extension is built around a single user-facing purpose: page change monitoring. Any access to web page content, URLs, tab information, local storage, alarms, notifications, or offscreen processing is limited to providing or improving this monitoring feature.
Page Monitor & Alert does not use monitored page content for personalized advertising, does not sell user data, and does not transfer monitored page data to third parties except where necessary for legal compliance, security, or payment processing outside the extension purchase flow.
You are responsible for using Page Monitor & Alert lawfully and respectfully. You should monitor only pages that you are allowed to access and should choose reasonable check intervals to avoid unnecessary load on websites. You must not use the extension for unauthorized access, scraping protected content, harassment, spam, or any activity that violates applicable laws or website terms.
Some features may be available only after purchasing or activating a license. A license may unlock higher monitoring limits, additional alert options, or other advanced functions described on the product page or purchase page. License data may be stored locally so the extension can remember the activated status.
Purchases, if available, may be processed through a third-party payment provider such as PayProGlobal, Stripe, Paddle, or another secure checkout provider. Payment providers process transactions under their own terms and privacy policies. Page Monitor & Alert does not store your credit card information inside the extension.
We may update the extension and these Terms and Conditions to improve functionality, security, compatibility, Chrome Web Store compliance, or legal clarity. Any changes will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the extension after changes are published means you accept the revised terms.
Page Monitor & Alert is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every page change will be detected, that alerts will always be delivered instantly, or that every website can be monitored due to login requirements, dynamic content, anti-bot protections, technical restrictions, browser limitations, or site changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the extension.
We may suspend or terminate access to paid or advanced features if the extension, license, or unlock system is abused, shared unlawfully, reverse engineered, or used in a way that violates these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where mandatory consumer protection rules apply, they remain unaffected.
For digital goods, including software licenses and activation keys, refunds cannot be issued once the license has been generated and delivered, unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by the payment provider.
The extension may provide a free mode, demo mode, or limited functionality so users can evaluate compatibility and core behavior before purchase. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that digital access or a license key may be delivered immediately.
