1. Introduction
PhotoBook PDF Maker ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Android application.
By using PhotoBook PDF Maker, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Process
PhotoBook PDF Maker is designed to process your photos locally on your device. The app may access or process the following information only when needed for its core functionality:
- Photos selected by you: images chosen from your device gallery or from Google Photos are accessed only to create your photobook PDF.
- Generated PDF files: photobook PDF files created by the app may be saved locally on your device or shared using apps you choose.
- App preferences: settings such as background choice, rounded-photo preference and other layout options may be stored locally on your device so they can be restored the next time you open the app.
- Contact information: if you contact us for support, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and message content.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We value your privacy. PhotoBook PDF Maker does not collect or use your photos or personal information for tracking, advertising or analytics.
- We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties.
- We do not upload your selected photos or generated PDF files to our servers.
- We do not collect passwords or Google account credentials.
- We do not collect payment card details.
- We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
- We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or third-party tracking tools.
4. How We Use Information
Any information processed by the app is used only to:
- Allow you to select photos from your device or supported photo providers.
- Create PDF photobooks using the layout and design options you select.
- Save generated PDF files locally on your device.
- Allow you to open or share generated PDFs using apps installed on your device.
- Remember selected app preferences locally.
- Respond to support requests and user inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations when required by applicable law.
5. Access to Photos and Media
PhotoBook PDF Maker accesses only the photos you explicitly select. Depending on your Android version and device configuration, photo selection may be provided through the Android system photo picker, your local gallery or Google Photos.
The app does not scan or upload your entire photo library. Selected photos are used only to generate your PDF photobook on your device.
6. Local Processing and Storage
Selected photos and generated PDF photobooks are processed locally on your Android device. We do not upload copies of your photos or generated PDFs to our servers.
Generated PDF files remain on your device or in the storage location you choose until you delete them.
7. Sharing PDF Files
PhotoBook PDF Maker allows you to share a generated PDF using the Android sharing system. When you choose to share a PDF with an app such as email, messaging, cloud storage or another third-party service, the selected file is transferred to that service at your request.
The privacy practices of the third-party app or service you choose are governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
8. Google Play Billing and PRO Purchases
PhotoBook PDF Maker may offer an optional PRO upgrade through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your credit card number, debit card number or other payment card details.
The app may receive purchase status information from Google Play solely to determine whether PRO features should be enabled on your device. Google Play may process purchase and account information according to Google's own terms and privacy policy.
9. Third-Party Services
PhotoBook PDF Maker does not use third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking services.
The app may interact with Android system services, Google Photos when selected by the user, and Google Play services for app distribution, updates and optional in-app purchases.
10. Advertising
PhotoBook PDF Maker does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers for tracking or personalized ads.
11. Data Retention
We do not retain copies of your selected photos or generated PDF files on our servers. Your files remain under your control on your device or in the storage or sharing destination you choose.
Support emails or contact requests may be retained only for as long as necessary to provide assistance, maintain business records or comply with legal obligations.
12. Data Security
Because photo processing and PDF creation take place locally on your device, you maintain control over your files. We use reasonable measures to protect any information you voluntarily provide to us, such as support requests.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
